Taking stock

We have enough socks, shirts and underwear to last until Friday which means we don't have to get the laundry done until then. If we didn't, we'd have to do it today, which is not strictly permitted during Pesach except out of necessity.

I've been looking for sources, actually - it's one of those things that is common knowledge but I can't find why. Which is annoying.
