Taking stock

We have enough socks, shirts and underwear to last until Friday which means we don't have to get the laundry done until then. If we didn't, we'd have to do it today, which is not strictly permitted during Pesach except out of necessity.

some of the picky detail makes me crazy this time of year. and I forgot to get my hair cut before, so now I need to remember Lag B'omer or wait until Shavuos. I'm still happy to be an observant Jew, but sometimes ... (we counted underwear and socks too)

Hair cutting. I kept meaning to do it before yom tov.

It's been over a year, after all. It's gotten straggly. Well, maybe I'll remember on L'ag.

I actually had a quick question for you from the other day: where does it say whatever you (or your Rabbi) interpret as you shouldn't knit during ChoM? I went looking in the Mishnah Berurah and couldn't find anything I could relate to that. (And I totally grant that my reading was cursory, not in depth in any way.)

I've been looking for sources, actually - it's one of those things that is common knowledge but I can't find why. Which is annoying.
