Okay. I finished mitten #2 (and I think I dropped half the stitches along the way, but managed to catch them before any damage was done.)

Now what? :)

Socks?

I'm not sure I have those skills yet.

I'm still knitting *flat*, after all.

Means getting more yarn. and different needles.

Which is not a hardship.

Matching hat would work well. If you feel up for it, you could get either double-pointeds or a small circular needle and try this one in the round. (Or get both, and start it on the circular, and then switch to the DPNs at the top when you need them and are more comfortable working in the round.) But flat-and-seamed is fine if you're not ready for that leap.

Matching hat and scarf? Socks?

I'm working on a shawl and a scarf right now and I'm planning on mastering socks in the next little bit.

Have fun!

Er, wait for cold weather and wear?

You could do a scarf or try a vest.
