Have lasagna in oven.
I forgot to ask Jonathan to buy red peppers yesterday, but he did buy the optional zucchini, so I used that. It should add the touch of bitterness I want. Also, turned out I didn't have fresh garlic. This will not be a prize winning dish, but it should be edible.
The sauce is onions, sliced crimini mushrooms, a large zucchini, frozen spinach, pepper, lots of dried basil and oregano, and, yes. Garlic powder. *Sigh*. And I used no-boil lasagna noodles, so that part was easier.
I *hate* being sick. It should not be exhausting to make a sauce or construct a lasagna It really shouldn't.
I'm serving this with a plain green salad tonight. No blintzes. No cheesecake. I don't do those things anyway.
