My study partner, who got me into the martial arts class, has a sick daughter. She can't go. A second has mono. A third has a broken coccyx.

That leaves me. Little white belt *me*.

Mimi is healing up, thank Gd, so she should be back in class soon.

Actually, I enjoyed the personal attention. Master Katie is very sweet and *very* good at what she does, especially considering *me* - poor coordination and balance, very stiff muscles (my hips are really bad in that regard) and just generally being out of shape. Also, I over analyze everything because I'm very leftbrained.

I needed this time, although not at the price of my friends being sick or injured.
