Huh - fic fest
Jun. 1st, 2009 04:38 pmEvery year, I look forward to
mcshep_match because the stories are always good and often excellent - there are several with a permament home on my pda.
This year I'm seriously thinking of taking part. I'm not sure where life is going to take me in the next few months, but at least one possibility will leave me with a train commute of HOURS - plenty of time to write, and the prompts are of a sort with which I can work. And I've learned I enjoy ficfests.
I even know which team.
Should I go for it? Not everyone who signs up gets put on a team, and I'm not exactly a top of the list writer (not being modest - I barely write anymore.) Is it worth the chance?

Date: 2009-06-01 08:54 pm (UTC)Signups are slated to begin on Friday, June 12th, at 10pm GMT; that's 6pm here on the east coast, and I don't know when sundown will be, so it might make sense to get a friend who's able to be online at that hour to sign up on your behalf.
