Or rather, guilty pleasure.

A client calls one of the agents. She has an unusual but familiar sounding first name. When she spells it for me, it comes to me. It's the same name as one of the contestants on the last Survivor, the one in Thailand. So, I find out her last name and do some checking and, yep. It's her. It's Shii Ann from the Thailand series. How cool is that? Not that I'll say anything when she calls again.

And this touches off a discussion with our two 20-something men about Joe Millionaire, whom they both think is an utter "dope." Their word. Which, of course degenerates to, "Did he really do it with her?" Boys. :)

Heh - makes me recall a story (I might've told you in person) from right after "Survivor: Africa" aired. MAB and I had watched the first "Survivor" to see what it was all about, but once we'd seen how the game worked, we had decided we didn't need to watch it again. So I basically ignored the existence of "Survivor: Africa." The day after the finale aired, my mother called me at work. Now, my mother is not a television watcher, so boy was I surprised when her question was, "Do you know anything about a television show called 'Survivor'?" I said sure and told her that we'd watched the first season. Her next question was, "Do you remember Ethan Zohn (http://us.imdb.com/Name?Zohn,%20Ethan)?" I said, of course. My mother had tutored him for his bar mitzvah years ago. And Ima responds with "He just won $1,000,000 from that 'Survivor' program."

Small world, ain't it?

Ah, Ethan. The only winner whom everyone *liked*. The one who won by being honestly nice. The one who is actually donating time and money to charity.

He's also *cute*.
