I am CHOKING on the sizism on Hell's Kitchen.

On the other hand, I'm watching him being so angry he's red in the face - angry,frustrated and outraged. And not a curse out of him. A woman who can't cook to his standards is running a cooking school, and that's beyond him.

Oh, that bothered me as well. Robert went all the way out to Catalina Island on the ferry only to turn around.

And yep, GR was pretty flummoxed by that woman.

It would have been courteous if they'd all gone on the ferry- would have been thoughtful if even ONE of his teammates had offered to go with him.
"Cooking School Woman" may finally be the one to give GR that stroke he's always on the edge of...
But if I was one of the women, I'd have already been tossed for taking Miss "I Quit No I Don't I'm Sick No I;m Not" behind the restaurant and kicking her behind.

Gordon Ramsay has always a classist, sizist narcissistic bully boy. This is also the man who's intentionally put meat and meat broth into food that he knows will be served to vegetarians and has said that he'd rather his children be electrocuted than be vegetarians. He's sick.

Look how long "The Biggest Loser" has been on the air, often opposite "America's Top Model". I didn't even bother watching "Amerikan Idle" after their first season when I heard the contest discriminates on the basis of age. And I've yet to see a plain looking woman on Tyra Banks's show. The whole media is biased in one direction or another

I had a teacher like him once, with the same 'life story' (or more accurately career story): bullied by their mentor, never achieving confidence or any real authority, and being reduced to amping up arrogance and bullying people further. A cycle of misery. And he's not that good a cook, either.
