I spoke to my brother.

The procedure went well. One artery was 75% blocked - there's a stent there now. Others were 30% and they're not worried about them. She'll spend the night there, of course, and be home tomorrow, to go on bed rest.

I'm exhausted. Utterly exhausted. I'm scared about a three hour drive I have to make tomorrow - or maybe I'll push it off until Thursday when the weather is better.

(But I got to meet my stepfather's granddaughter Nikki and her very sweet girlfriend, who came to visit my mother. Because I have a wonderful mother whom everyone loves. And I liked meeting these two very much.)

I'm so glad the news has, so far, and cautiously optimistic, been so good. May it continue in that vein (as it were :-) only even better yet.

I'm so glad things went well for your mom, and she recovers quickly! please try to get some rest before you drive - if you can, waiting until Thursday makes sense.

and yay! for meeting cool relatives.

*hugs* I'm glad your mom's doing well. My mom had to have a stent put in and she recovered well, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't live nearly as healthily. She does bruise easily now, though, which if it's a concern for your mom, I'm sure the doctors will warn her.

Glad to hear that the news is good for your Mom.
Waiting until Thursday to leave sounds like a very good idea. It's only supposed to be cold on Thursday which is better to drive 3 hours in than the snow predicted for tomorrow.
