I cannot say how much I appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers from you. Thank you!

Mom is, as I write, in the catherization lab, undergoing the procedure. I spent the afternoon with her - she was fine, except that she was hungry (they didn't let her eat today.) Her cardiologist said that she had a blockage.

She's in Robert Wood Johnson General Hospital, which does 50 of these procedures a day. Which means she's in the right place.

My father's been through this a couple of times, I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

The New Brunswick NJ Robert Woods Johnson? If so please feel free to contact me if you need something done locally, or if she needs a visit and you are unavailable or whatever.

Yes, the one in New Brunswick.

Thank you! I will.

She's good right now - her husband, both families and her extensive network of friends are keeping her phone ringing and her room (her *private* room) full.

It's hard when it's your own mother, I know, but this really is a common procedure and almost always goes well. Still, I empathize with your worries. I felt the same way when my mom had hers last year.

I do hope everything goes smoothly, and I have every confidence that it will.

And just so you know, I was born in RWJ. At the time, it was called General Hospital.

It's all crossed and I'm saying a little prayer that the procedure and your mother's recovery are smooth and unexciting.
