I always enjoy your post and this one is no exception. I really hope that this continues throughout his administration. I've always thought (and I know it is a very simplistic and naive view)that once elected all politicians should have to renounce political parties and agree to work just for the good of all Americans with no political leanings at all. Here's hoping America has begun it's climb back to the great Nation is once was and will regain respect around the world.

I hope so. I want to be proud of my country again. Election day helped enormously, but we still have far to go.
