The thing is, no one really votes for a vp. He's *safe* - his only job is to breathe.
And two years ago, there weren't so many protests on college campuses. We all remember that Rosh HaShanah, but it was too soon before the general election to affect it.
A Jewish man at the head of the ticket is something else again. We'll see what happens November, 2004, if he makes it past the primaries.
