Chili-lime chicken - in oven
Rice - in rice cooker.
Roasted broccoli - blanched, tossed in rosemary oil and in oven.

I just need to make coffee and refill the coffee urn. And shower and do the lights. Yay!

It came out terrible.

Next time, I'm not going to divide it into florets until I serve it, and I'll take it out of the oven sooner.

If you do, learn from my mistakes.

Medium oven. Do not divide into florets until you serve. Take out as soon as it's done.

But do blanch first. That, at least, worked.

How do you check your broccoli? If you parboil, do you bother checking first?

Did you get any good tips for checking greens at the cooking class?

That's the beauty of blanching the vegetables - all you need to do is wash them first. The blanching takes care of the bugs.

We weren't given tips for raw greens, however.
