If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

I'm not actually going to write any of these (unless something strikes me), but I am curious.

The three of them survived a surprise intervention from Montana's family ("What do you mean, you're quitting your job and selling your co-op and staying in Cascade with two guys you met yesterday? We're all coming out there now!") This unease lasted until they actually saw the three of them together and realized that this was what had to be.

They now own the entire building and have taken over the top floor, combining both lofts. Jim is still a cop; Blair is still working both law enforcement and academia and Montana is keeping them well and healthy, and his daughter from a previous marriage spends every summer with them.

Which is all essentially boring and I can't really get a story out of it.

Hmph. Well, there could be plenty of drama and angst with the family visit, and you could do a case-story to show the life after, especially with the daughter visiting and have her get caught up in something. *shrug* But if they just want to live their life and not tell you any of their stories, there's generally nothing you can do about that. I just felt like it wasn't -finished-. They weren't settled yet, so the story's not done. The last bit I have, Montana's still freaking out.
