Harry Potter thoughts

I got this thought while watching the scene where Nagini attackes Mr. Weasley in the Department of Mysteries. We all know that Harry saw that through Nagini's eyes, as if he *were* Nagini. Harry is somehow connected to Voldemort, who has his own bond with Nagini, and so it's possible that's how Harry could do that, but wouldn't Voldemort have figured something was up if he were being used as a conduit between boy and snake?

I think it's because both Nagini and Harry are living Horcruxes, carrying pieces of Voldemort's soul. The other Horcruxes that we know about or can guess are inert - -Slyherin's Locket, Gaunt's Ring, Huffelpuff's Cup, Riddle's Diary.

And I think this will prove useful in the final book.

Flaw - that incident was what brought the connection to Lord Voldemort's attention; he was aware that he was being used. That's how he got the idea to plant the image of Sirius being tortured in Harry's mind, he knew that the connection existed.

It's been a while since I read Book 5 - I'm not sure I have since reading Book 6.

So. That is a flaw. I don't think it entirely explodes it, but it does give an alternate explanation.

Well, yes. It could be argued that the reason for the connection between Harry and LV being similar enough to that between Nagini and LV that it could be transferred as it was is because both are connections between LV and a horcrux.
