mamadebShabbat is in 25 minutes as I write.
And everything is *done* except shutting down the computer and lighting the candles. The turkey broth, the store-bought noodle kugel, tonight's chicken (marinated in vinegar, oil and rosemary) - they're in a 200F oven. The broccoli, tomorrow's chicken - they're in the fridge, and I've shut off that light. Tomorrow's coffee is in the thermos, and the hot pot is boiling more water.
Every light is set - on, off, changed for Shabbat or on a timer. The candles are waiting to be lit. The VCR is set to record SG-1 tonight.
I even took five minutes to say the afternoon service, something I almost never do.
