Help!

Verizon is going to start using STMP authentication. That makes it slightly incompatible with Netscape 4.7.

I have a choice. I can upgrade to 6.0 (or whatever will give me the security of 4.7.) I can d/l and change to Eudora. I can change to OE (I use version 5). I can switch to Opera Mail.

I haven't heard great things about Netscape 6.0.

Advice? Counsel?

I don't like Eudora, but I'm seriously thinking about changing to it anyway.

well, for what it's worth, there's a new version of netscape, 7.0, that's apparently just been released. i haven't tried it yet, though.

Other programs you can try:

Outlook Express... It has its pluses and minuses..

And Pegasus (you should be able to find it in a search engine) I haven't seen the newest version. But its pretty good. And I definately like it better than Eudora.
