So many reasons - you're smart and funny and snarky - you're able to see humor in so many situations. You're just, in general, fun to be with.


You have a deep ability to form connections and I've felt that. You write songs that make me laugh and cry, and sometimes both. You were amazing on a snowy night in Connecticut six years ago. I miss seeing you around the NY conventions but it seems you're happy where you are, and that's the most important thing.


You have an amazing talent but you know when to let others shine. You're also funny and snarky - and you can ask hard questions when I don't expect them, but that's *good*. And your songs stay in my head.
