I found out, through forum searches and the like, how to have wordpress send summaries, not full posts, to the syndicator.

I hope, anyway.

I also found out how to use a "more" button. This is to say to the three of you who subscribe to my rss feed that I will no longer take up inordinate room your friends page or RSS filter.
