I'm mostly just curious
Apr. 16th, 2006 09:13 pmIf you had me alone, locked up in your house for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you have me do? All comments will be permanently screened because it's a secret. Then repost this in your LJ. You might be surprised with the responses you get.

Date: 2006-04-17 01:25 am (UTC)I think, and we are going to play pretend that the kitchen to my house had been previously professionally kasherd, because other wise that's way more than 24 hours right there?
I would have you cook for me. And show me how to make some of the foods you are always talking about.
I'm so DREADFULLY respectable.

Date: 2006-04-17 11:22 am (UTC)And I couldn't let you go without food for such a long time, so I would have to cook you some excellent meals. I would have to learn to cook kosher food, of course.

Date: 2006-04-17 12:46 pm (UTC)My usual plan with overseas friends is to take them to the city and show them Melbourne, but this meme seems to imply that you're meant to stay locked up. *shrug* Stuff the meme, even I don't want to spend 24 hours in my flat without a break for exercise. We'd go do tourist things, then end up at St Kilda or Elsternwick, where the kosher restaurants are, for dinner.
You might end up with a loan of a pile of Australian/NZ young adult and detective novels and have to send them back by mail. I don't have nearly enough fannish people to talk Kerry Greenwood, Tessa Duder or Catherine Jinx with.
At the most coercive, I might try to force you to decide for me which of my to-read pile I should start next. I'm not really the captor type - I have rats for that. Yoghurt says she wants out, by the way.
