mamadebSo. The big news of the day (well, last night, but I got kinda busy last night) is that my brother-in-law is getting married!
She's beautiful and bright, and sweet and has a gorgeous three year girl (yay - instant niece!) and will be starting nursing school in the fall as a first step to midwifery. He met her from JDate two Thanksgivings ago and the three of them have been like a family since. Zoe does have a father in her life, so Mitch won't be that, but they're still good together.
My mother-in-law said it would have broken her heart for them *not* to have gotten married. And she's right.
We're just dancing and grinning here.
(We think it was a combination of factors - they're moving in together, Mitch just went to the wedding of the last of his unmarried high school friends and it was Valentine's Day.)
