Yeah, you look so masculine in your skirts and snoods.

:)

That's actually meaningless. It's possible to look completely butch in a skirt and hat.

Just not me. (Although my favorite Purim costume ever was a denim skirt, a plaid flannel shirt over a t-shirt and a leather cap, plus brown high-top suede sneakers. Biker dyke from Boro Park.)

I think I'll put the same sort of thing together for next Purim.

(I don't say what I am. I just hope someone guesses.)

By some of the things that I suspect this sexist quiz thinks of as "feminine" (secretive, jealous, moody), I'd prefer to be androgynous (which is what I got) or masculine, anyway.

Yeah. I noticed that.

My most common answer was "sometimes".

Um, this little "test" says I am androgynous. I've never considered myself to be so. Physically, I couldn't be more feminine.

It's not a physical test, of course.

but it is a test of stereotypes.

I know. I thought it was funny that I have so many masculine traits. It surprised me a little.

WOW! I'm androgynous. I don't think anyone can tell by looking at me *LOL*
This is how I scored: higher than 45% on masculinity and higher than 28% on femininity.

On the first page they say:
The BSRI is based on gender stereotypes, so what it's actually measuring is how well you fit into your traditional sex role. Thus, your score says as much about how our cultural expectations have changed over the last 35 years as it does about your personality.

You folks have moved with the times!

I got 50 M, 43 F, which I was told was "high in masculinity, low in feminity". Looked not all that far apart to me.

On the percentiles, I was higher than 0% for my age and gender in both masculinity and feminity. I'm extreme! I wonder if I scored lower than 0%, too . . .

Silly test. Because it doesn't look like it's moved all that far.

Well, it's official: I'm androgynous.

Don't tell my rabbi.

It could be worse. I got "undifferentiated" with a picture of Richard Simmons. Oh, yeah, I'll post that on my journal. NOT.
