So, I signed up for about twenty fandoms (including, so help me, "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"), plus a few more specific pairings.

I'm just hoping that what I write will be as good as the stories I've read in the past.

(Oh, and in my head, it's Chanukahtide. 'Cause they're the same Gregorian date this year.)

In my head, "yule" refers to the winter solstice season, which the early Christians co-opted by claiming Jesus was born around then (which, as far as I've read, he probably actually wasn't *g*) and which has been a time of gift-giving in many cultures with divergent faith-traditions. :-)

All non-Jewish faith traditions are problematic. Christmas is harder only because it's all pervasive.
