I babysat my favorite 8 year old today.

I took him with me to my Pa-kua class, which he enjoyed (and what kid wouldn't) and then we had brunch - he had pizza and I had eggs and potatoes. He was also a big help when I went grocery shopping and then we went home to hole up in the only cool room we have - my bedroom. We watched Teen Titans, and he played with Bejeweled on my PDA. When that got boring, we played Fluxx and then I should him Snood.

At 4PM, his dad came and collected him.

And now I have Bejeweled 2 on my desktop.

And we SO appreciate it! Thank you so much! Liam left the letter from school, explaining about the two half-days and the day off, in his schoolbag, and forgot to show it to us until the last minute. Mike and I could work out the half-days between us (playing "pass the kid around" at work), but didn't leave either of us enough time to ask for the whole of Thursday off. You're a life saver!

And Liam had such a good time with you! I heard about every minute of it during our evening cuddle. ;) (Except that he couldn't remember the name of "Snood".) I can't wait to show him your post!!
