My mother is going to be *just* fine. They don't know why she blacked out, but they've ruled out strokes - she had the CAT scan of an eleven year old, and blood sugar problems. She's alert, in some pain because of her injuries and finding it difficult to manage without her dominant hand, but she's in a good place. This is the hospital where she volunteers, and they love her there. She works in the gift shop, she knows everyone and they all love her. Which is not a surprise at all. I got to watch her hold court with fellow volunteers.

I have a good feeling about all of this.
