From someone who is standing on the sidelines and watching the yuletide crisis today -

I have nothing but applause for astolat and tzikeh. This was heroic work, ladies - to recover that quickly from an attack, to get everything in order and to be so gracious. It is a lovely thing to behold. And that's after the work of simply organizing the event in the first place.

It has been, indeed.

I am so full of admiration for everyone - those posting about it, those fixing it and those volunteering to upload for those who couldn't.

There are times I am very proud of the fannish community. This is one of them.

I was going to post on it last time I posted but the situation hadn't been resolved. What a roller-coaster! I'm off to upload for the third time, which is fortunately a trivial matter for me personally. I admire them very much myself.
