Though you're not quite sure why, people are drawn
to you like moths to a flame. You really
are too cool for words.

Thing of it is, that's what I'd thought I'd be. Or the Changeling.

I got almost all the way through before it hit me they didn't mean friends on the net. Since "I have no friends" wasn't an option on some of the questions I gave up.

Sweetie, friends are friends, whether you are able to hang out with them or not. [livejournal.com profile] mamadeb, for instance, is one of my closest and oldest friends, and I've only met her in person once. If I wanted to answer that quiz based only on local friends, I'd be screwed, because I only have 2 true friends - my husband and [livejournal.com profile] amberfox, and two relatively new friends, who are just barely past the acquaintance mark with me, within an hour's drive of me. I have over a half-dozen true friends and maybe a dozen casual friends all over the world, though. I was answering the questions based on all of them. And, okay, the ones that talked about physical getting-together, I answered as if I had the option. :)

One day, we shall get together again.

Not sure when, but we will.

:)

Sorry if I sounded bitter, there... I do have one online friend I see sometimes (as in a few times a year if I'm lucky) face-to-face. But my husband doesn't believe online people are real friends. (He's a total mensch, just when it comes to that topic he's plain mean).

Plus I've been going through quite a bit, not to hand out the TMI. But, thanks for your nice words.

I have lots of friends on the net. Some of them :) are on my friends list.

I have friends in real life, too.

I don't think of them differently.

I don't think it's too different either

Lots of my online friends became my IRL friends I usually hang out with when I moved to Budapest two years ago. Before, my grandma was furious. "You spend too much time online!!" But she was very happy I didn't feel alone in the least bit in the Big City (TM).

Witty, amusing and a bit weird, you're welcomed
into most social groups, even though you don't
'fit in' perfectly .
