What I learned today

I learned that the standard recipe for quiche - four eggs/two cups milk/filling - fills one and a half frozen deep dish pie shells. And if you attempt to make it fill one, you get a very messy counter and oven. And that it's a good thing frozen pie shells come three to a package.

Quiche one: cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, marjoram
Quiche two: mozzarella cheese, broccoli, garlic
Quiche three: all of the above.
