Hey there--

I found you through resonant8's lj. And I thought your comment on corsets was beautiful.

I also found your fic, A Taste of Schnapps, a few months ago. And you took a very unlikely pairing and made it believable. I really liked your view of Klink a whole lot better than I did the aired version. All that, and you made it fit canon too.

So I hope ya don't mind if I friend you. I'd like to read more.

Considering how Bob whatsisname died, it is both tasteless and utterly poetic that there is Hogans Heroes slash.
Of course, that show was the ultimate in tasteless surreality.
Who pitched that? "Hey, I think I'd like to do a sitcom about a WWII prison camp. It'll be a riot."

Where all the actors who played Germans were Jewish, too. Don't forget that.

However, while I would not claim my stories to be tasteful, I did not think about the way Crane died when I wrote the story, and the most explicit thing there was kissing - at the time, I wanted to do a story focusing on kissing and this one worked with that.

Yeah, I know that Klink and the other Germans were Jewish. That's what makes it even more bizarre and surreal.
