Mar. 10th, 2004 09:29 pmI just got back from a lovely dinner with my husband. We went to a local Chinese place (same place
estherchaya went that day, and exchanged presents. I gave him two books on New York and a couple of amazingly cute cards - one with a picture of two bunnies and one with a picture of two bears. Because we are amazingly cute. Or maybe cutesy. But he loved them.
I got Uppity Women of Shakespeare's Days and a book of short stories based in Neil Gaiman's Sandman universe.
More importantly, though, he also bought a new chain for my Star of David, the one I got for my high school graduation. I wore it so much that the chain became tangled with hair and was pretty much unwearable. I'm wearing it now. It's...it's lovely. It's just an inexpensive chain, but it still. Lovely.
And I want to thank all of you for your kind wishes today. So many, so wonderful. I'm overwhelmed.
Thank you.
