Dear Person who just called:
This is a real estate office. Many people call us in the course of a day, let along a week. This means that you cannot assume the person answering the phone will recognize your voice. And, if you call on a Sunday, the chances are fairly good that you spoke to weekend staff, and not the person you are speaking to on Monday (this is a bigger clue here, since our weekend person is a man with a strong Spanish accent, and I am a woman with a strong Brooklyn accent.) Saying, "Hi. I want to know more information." to start a conversation doesn't work and is not helpful. Also, calling from a bus when you might have to, I don't know, *take notes*, is not a wise move.
Please to identify yourself and your agency if any when you call, and call from a place where you can hear me.
Love,
Mama
