mamadebI'm at work. I've been officially forbidden to do personal stuff during the work day, but there are no bosses here.
What it is is that they're worried. Ever since September 11, we've had almost no one come in to rent an apartment. Prices are falling quickly and we are building a tremendous backlog of empty listings. So they are getting very little cash in, and this is bad. So, I'm entering the names and addresses of landlords for us to send postcards to.
I have a feeling we're going to find ripples from that horrible day for years to come. I might even lose my job if they decide a receptionist is a luxury.
