I know I first met you online in #senslash, but no particular meeting sticks out as the first. I just have fond memories on interesting conversations. I think the first time I met you in person was at my Sentinel party at Eclecticon.

I think I've first met you in #senslash too. I don't remember a specific meeting either, what I remember is that I felt sort of awkward with your "mama" nick that everyone was using, because I have never called anyone but my own mother that. Also her death was much more recent back then, and I just couldn't bring myself to use that nick for you, so I settled for calling you "Deb" iirc, even though I was mostly alone with that.

Heh. I was at Arisia, not sure how many years ago, but I was walking through the hallway, overheard you explaining your .sig to someone, asked if you were you, and got invited to the Kosher Conspiracy dinner.

I think I "met" you for the first time on soc.culture.jewish, but yes, that Arisia was the first time we met in person.

Ah, well...my first meeting of you in #senslash was simply an extremely amusing evening. MaDcOwS running around everywhere, getting thrown in the piranha pool, etc. You discovering I was another monotheist (at the time).

Meeting you in person, I remember most clearly that I *knew* you. Instantly. I'm very bad with face-recognition, even of people I know intimately, but yet I *knew* you were you, the instant I saw you. I can't think of a single other person I've had that response with.

My memory is a bit foggy on this issue, but, if IIRC, it was either on ASCEM or PTF/Fuh-Q (both of which I learned of through ASCEM). :)

I'm sorry to say that I can't actually remember the circumstances of the "meeting," but I do believe it had something to do with my particular taste in fanfic. ;)
