May. 8th, 2003 06:58 pmMy right arm, despite the physical therapy and the exercises, is not getting better.
Okay, that's not quite true. It's stronger and has a greater range of motion than before the therapy, but it still *hurts*. In fact, today it hurts more than it has in the past. I'm used to twinges when I move wrong, and for it to take some time to calm down after doing my prescribed exercises, but I could feel the muscles twitching last night, which they haven't before, and I woke up in pain this morning, and it's been aching all day.
Tuesday, my physical therapist told me that, since it is still hurting, I should go back to my doctor, tell him and see what else should be done. The appointment was today.
I'm now on Vioxx. My insurance doesn't cover it. :( He wanted me on a stronger anti-inflamatory than just Advils. Which I'm now not permitted to take at all. Just Tylenol.
And I have a referral to an orthopedist. I'll make that appointment tomorrow.
On the other hand...my blood pressure is 132/82.
It was 140/90 last time. I'm pretty pleased. I think it's due to the pakua.
