Shopping part II completed. I now own a thirteen pound turkey and a nearly 6 lb brisket. Said brisket cost me over $10/lb.

We are reeling.

Still to do - cleaning out and lining those cabinets to be used on Passover7; cleaning, burning and covering stovetop, washing floors, filling cabinets with groceries and the Pesach utensils and purchasing the fruits and vegetables. And cooking.

The one advantage that I have to knowing someone who does kosher catering... brisket at $4.60 per pound. Our 18 pound brisket didn't cost much more than your 6 lb. brisket! I don't do that year round, but a couple times a year, several of us place an order with her and she gives it to us at cost from the wholesaler.

Anywho, off to work with me. The sooner I get to work the sooner I get home so the sooner I can do more Pesach cleaning. Oh, wait, maybe I DO want to procrastinate more.
