mamadebJust basic good news. The biopsy from my mole proved to be benign, as I suspect. And, anyway, if it had been malignant, my doctor would have called. They also got all te pigment, so it won't be coming back.
In general post 9/11 weirdness, though - I've been going to NYU Medical Center for years. The main lobby has a huge number of entrances, including a revolving door, and I used to just go in the first one I came to. Not anymore. Now all the entrances, including the revolving door, except for two, are closed. There's one for employees, and one for visitors. And I had to show my driver's license and have it photographed before I could enter. And there were National Guardsmen in the subway station at 34th St today, and they were making sure people only came in one way and out another. I'm not sure why.
I want my old world back. :(
