Year in Review

One very, very good thing happened last year - my mother married a wonderful man. They're both very happy together and both families couldn't be more pleased, and we are trying to make an effort to be a family while never forgetting my father or their mother.

Also, my sister-in-law is expecting, several friends (and children of friends) had healthy and much-wanted babies and the convention I ran once is in good hands.

A couple of fairly bad things happened - my father-in-law was hospitalized with congestive heart failure, and the meds they gave him were inappropriate for an otherwise healthy 85 year old with low blood pressure. This may have contributed to the second bad thing, which was the car accident that left them injured and without a car, but otherwise all right. And they are NOT getting another car, for which we are all grateful.

And then there was that thing in October, of course.

I wrote fewer stories than I would have liked, began a new fandom (Supernatural) and continued some older ones.

All in all, not the best of years, but far from the worst.
