I'm currently using the Knitpicks merino for my lace wrap. (You can see pictures of it in progress here (http://mamadeb.wordpress.com/2006/08/21/lacy-wrap/).) It's lovely stuff, and, yeah, the price is right.
I've done two pair of self-patterning socks already (or will when the crayon socks are done) and the next pair will be lace in a solid green. I want a more random variegation for the pair after that.
