mamadebIt's probably (big shock) carpal tunnel syndrome, and there is weakness in my right thumb. I've always had very strong hands, so this is...more signs that the warranty has expired.
I'm to wear a brace at night and when knitting (I can knit again!) and I'm getting a nerve test in a couple of weeks - this is largely to rule out neuropathy.
Surgery is a last ditch option that he believes we can avoid. Yay.
In other news, my morning BG was 131, which is the best it's been after fasting. And whatever nausea I was feeling from the metformin is gone. And now it's 180 two hours after breakfast - also lower than it's been. Metformin or diet - something's working.
