There's something going on in a Chinese restaurant catercorner to our office. There's a fire truck in front of the office, and a ladder truck next to the restaurant, and one more someplace else and loud communication but no smoke.

It's very dramatic and I hope no one is hurt.

Sounds like what happened near where I work two weeks ago with one difference. NASCAR's Ryan Newman and two friends put out the fire before the firemen got there.
