We had a very quiet night - I'm sick, it was Shabbat and there were other factors - and didn't actually exchange gifts, but we're still amazed that it feels this short and also like it's always been.
Fortunately, we live in two calendars, so we get a second chance. Not that it's not a Friday, too, but...:)
Now to do *something* about Purim.
