mamadebHot and humid erev yom tov. I need to straighten out hte living and dining rooms because I have guests (none begged off) on Tuesday.
Menus:
Tonight:
Pasta tossed with ricotta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and pumpkin seeds
Salad
Tomorrow lunch
spinach/tomato omelets
fruit salad with yogurt
Tomorrow dinner:
Friends
Tuesday lunch:
cucumber-yogurt soup
cold salmon and pasta
Greek salad
cheesecake
Plus appropriate wines and sodas.
Note that other than the pasta dish, everything is to be made right then, and that everything cooks fast if it cooks at all. There's much to be said for a holiday that mandates dairy.
