I have not voted yet. I will right after work - polls opened at six but I don't. In fact, I got started late enough that I took a car to work. Told the driver to vote and to make sure he had ID if he never voted before. Did the same for the two agents who told me that they've never voted (in their defense, they are both immigrants.)

I will vote. I want everyone who can to vote even if they vote for the man I do not support (although, well. Kerry! Please!) Because if Bush does win (chas v'shalom), I want it to be decisive - I want no reason for recounts or dirty tricks or anything. The events four years ago damaged our country beyond putting Bush in the White House and it can't happen again. I don't want to think about what would happen.

I still want a different president. For my birthday. (Today is Hebrew; Friday is civil.)

So, vote. Please.

Happy birthday / yom-huledet sameach!

I can't vote :[ but I'm a Kerry supporter, not that it matters in any way. Read my post on the elections, it's something you haven't heard before in all likelihood (it's a comparison to the last Hungarian elections), and it might cheer you up somewhat. There is still hope!

Happy birthday!

Done my part for your present. Now all we need is a big enough group to agree with us!

Happy B-Day--and voted on the way to work. The line at my polling place was out the door at 8 AM.

Hope it's that way everywhere.

Take this with a brick of salt ... but the early exit polls look very favorable for Kerry.

(Of course, the Republicans can read these polls as well as the Democrats, so they're going to be trying that much harder to bring their people out later in the afternoon. If you're reading this and you live in a swing state, don't assume the election is over, because it isn't! Vote!!)
