Smallville Spoilers

First. Tom Welling was amazing. I *heard* Lionel in his voice; I believed he was Lionel. (Yes, John Glover did the same with being Clark, but, well, it's less amazing for a mature actor.)

Also, he looked even more gorgeous. And Lionel really liked what he was looking at, too. :)

The episode itself was tight and scary and made my stomach twist, which are all words of praise.

But.

This is the weird part for me. (and I'm not the only one, I'm sure.)

I wrote this. Not *this* episode, precisely, no. But I wrote a ficlet where Lionel switched bodies with Lex and let him die in his place. So that Lionel became the Villain!Lex. No, I can't find it now. Which is very frustrating. mecurtin might remember it, though.

This has happened to all of us - most spectacularly to lanningck - but it was still weird.

Edited to add that mecurtin is wonderful. Smile.
