Mar. 28th, 2004 03:53 pmI'm reading a story rec'd on
crack_van called "Beech Hall". You can find it at Inkstained Fingers. And it's a good story, so far.
But. In it, a character is suffering from long-term injuries - healing bones.
This is HP. Pomfrey can heal broken bones with a spell. She can regrow bones in a night. The character in question does not like being helpless or damaged, and the injuries are not embarrassing in nature, and is from Hogwarts.
The injuries allow for interesting interactions, but they don't make sense in the universe. It's a very good story, but that keeps tossing me out.
