I don't normally talk about feedback on LJ, but this one is special.

That's because it's not about one of my stories, although the writer had, in fact, read some of my stories. It's about a d'var torah, an essay on a torah portion, that I'd written a couple of years ago. She was looking for one to help her son with homework. And mine was the one that worked for her, which is the best part, of course. It's an amazing thing.

But then she noticed who wrote it.

Cognitive dissonance. It's a way of life.
