What a difference a day makes
Dec. 13th, 2007 02:40 pmYesterday was awful. I had to do more work than usual and deal with yet another new agent who finds the computer a strange and frightening beast, and do it on three hours sleep plus coffee.
I could manage on that in college. I finished college 20 years ago. I am middle-aged now and coffee is no longer a substitue for sleep. Also, if I drink too much, I get jittery, and that's even worse. I managed on the equivalent of four cups, spaced well.
And I needed a beta for my Yuletide story. I'd asked someone on the beta list, but there was no response.
But I went to sleep at 10:30 last night and slept (mostly) until 8:30, so I feel human again. And my Yuletide story has been sent off to the person who so graciously *did* repsond. Life is good again. Maybe I'll write a story.
