More on this working extra days thing
Jun. 15th, 2007 12:16 pmI've freaked out both boss's wives by being here today. Which is cool - I had to reassure one that next week, things will be back to normal.
I so hope they will be, but I think that if they change things (I doubt they will), I can manage.
My cleaning lady was very surprised at how I looked - she's used to me in t-shirts and pre-tied scarves. That is, the stuff I wear on Thursdays and Fridays - the shlunky, comfortable stuff.
So here I am in a print skirt and a buttoned blouse, and I have a scarf wrapped and tied over my hair and she can't believe how nice I look. She's never seen me dressed for work. (My husband thinks I could wear this outfit to shul, and I did - when the skirt and the blouse were new. Not now, thank you.)
