I'm one of the few who like the nav bar - I've found it very useful (not to worry - I have the feature that forces it upon anyone viewing my journal turned off) but, like most of you, I also found it jarring, even in the light grey that sort of makes it fade out.

isabeau posted some code (via legomymalfoy as to how to make the nav bar *match*.

It took some fiddling and I'd never used CSS code before, so it was all a learning experience, but now the nav bar looks like it's part of my livejournal, not something pastede on. Much better now.
