Jan. 6th, 2003 05:18 pmI called in sick today. First time I've done that. And it feels *weird*. I think I'm actually well enough to have gone in, which doesn't help, but also, well.
I work three days a week. Thursday and Friday I spend doing things like shopping and cooking and picking up laundry. In other words, I'm busy. Time spent in chat is time wasted. Time spent reading TWoP is time wasted. I do it, but I'm aware of what it means.
Sunday and major civic holidays, my husband is also home. We share the computer, so we have to take turns using it. And we also do things together on those days. Shabbat and Yom Tov are Shabbat and Yom Tov and therefore are irrelevent to this.
I have no responsibilities today. Dinner is leftovers. I can spend all the time online I want without worrying about it. Weird. I'm doing major catchup.
